# AgentModel > Parametric CAD you drive from a prompt. Describe a part, get editable > OpenSCAD with a customizer, and iterate on it — in the browser at https://model.brightmotion.io, > or from a terminal with the `agentmodel` CLI. The CLI is how an AI agent > uses AgentModel: every command takes `--json`, and renders, measurements > and share links come back as files and data rather than pictures in a chat. ## Set this up Paste this into your agent, or follow it yourself: Set up the AgentModel CLI for me and connect it to my account. 1. Install: `curl -fsSL https://model.brightmotion.io/install.sh | sh` (needs Node 20+; re-running upgrades). Make sure ~/.local/bin is on PATH. 2. Run `agentmodel login`. It prints a URL and a short code — show me both and wait while I approve it in my browser. Never ask me for a password. 3. Verify: `agentmodel whoami`, then `agentmodel list --limit 5 --json`. 4. Install the skill so you know the commands: mkdir -p .claude/skills/agentmodel && curl -fsSL https://model.brightmotion.io/skill.md -o .claude/skills/agentmodel/SKILL.md (or the equivalent skills folder for your tool). Docs: https://model.brightmotion.io/docs · agent index: https://model.brightmotion.io/llms.txt Rules: use `--json` when you read output. `new`, `say` and `generate` spend money — tell me before running them. `set`, `push`, `pull`, `measure` and `check` are free. ## Read next - [Docs](https://model.brightmotion.io/docs): the CLI landing page — install, sign in, the first model, what an agent can do with it, and the full manual rendered inline. - [Manual](https://model.brightmotion.io/docs.md): the same manual as raw markdown — every command, its flags, its output and its exit codes. - [Agent skill](https://model.brightmotion.io/skill.md): the instruction file to drop into `.claude/skills/agentmodel/SKILL.md` (or your tool's equivalent). Condensed: the mental model, the iterate loop, the money rule, a command cheat sheet. - [Installer](https://model.brightmotion.io/install.sh): the shell script the one-liner runs. Installs `agentmodel` into `~/.local/bin`; re-running upgrades in place. - [Terminal sign-in](https://model.brightmotion.io/cli/auth): where `agentmodel login` sends the human. The CLI prints a short code, the person approves it here as themselves, and the terminal gets a token — no password in a shell. For CI, set `AGENTMODEL_TOKEN`, or `AGENTMODEL_EMAIL` and `AGENTMODEL_PASSWORD`. - [Examples](https://model.brightmotion.io/examples): the same prompts built by every model in the picker, side by side, with what each one costs. - [What's new](https://model.brightmotion.io/changelog): the release notes.
